IS MIKE SPANO'S
NEW PARTY

ON OUR SIDE ON THE IMMIGRATION ISSUE?

          The answer is a profound
NO! Is Mike Spano sponsoring legislation in the State Assembly (like Greg Ball for example), taking our Republican-Conservative-Independent-common sense positions on this issue. Again, the answer is a profound NO! Why not? Because Boss Sheldon Silver won't allow it; so Mike continues to dance to the Boss's tune. That's the price you pay for political treachery & unbridled ambition. It is the price you pay when you hope to get a payoff in illegal alien family votes or those of the illegal aliens themselves; when they can be pushed passed non-alerted (or maybe alerted) poll watchers.
So let us look at this immigration issue to see what effect it has on our lives. The data is from the
Judicial Watch, a nonpartisan organization geared to the protection of the provisions of our Constitution.
Overall, illegal immigration costs our taxpayers an estimated $53 billion a year in additional federal, state and local taxes.
Local property and state income taxes have increased rapidly in many parts of the country in large part due to rising school, health care, social welfare and public safety costs associated with illegal aliens.
.

An estimated 3.5 million illegal aliens receive their health care insurance through the taxpayer funded Medicaid program.
There are an untold number of "sanctuary" cities where misguided lawmakers have either expressly or implicitly welcomed illegals by
prohibiting enforcement of local, state & federal immigration laws.
Many cities are reporting rapidly increasing welfare costs for unemployed, indigent illegal aliens.
The cost of incarcerating illegal aliens in state prisons is estimated at nearly $3 billion.
Some states have reported spending as much as $3.3 billion a year on education, health care & law enforcement services specifically for illegals.
There is an estimated 1.5 million school-aged illegals in this country. Our costs for them nationally in 2004-05 was $7.7 billion.
The list goes on endlessly. If someone broke into your house illegally would you voluntarily house, clothe, feed, educate & care for them medically? I doubt it. Why then doesn't our Assemblyman Mike Spano have the backbone to stop these criminal acts and criminal benefits in the public center. Oh yes, I remember; Sheldon Silver would not like it, would not permit it, and would punish him for doing so. You know what that means, probably no nomination for Yonkers Mayor or some comparable position in the future
Don't you just love when somebody changes his party for your good but not his??
