Dispelling Rumors of a Yonkers
“Non-Aggression Pact”
Faulkner will qualify for the ballot to face Spano in November

For immediate release – July 5th, 2008

Yonkers, NY.  There are rumors swirling that GOP chairmen John Jacano and Doug Colety have agreed to a “non-aggression pact” with now democratic assemblyman Mike Spano and the Democrat leadership.

“I want to assure the district leaders, party members and the media that the two chairmen have given me their word that I will receive ample signatures and qualify for the ballot to face Mike Spano in November” said Jim Faulkner candidate for NY Assembly in the 93rd district.

Yonkers Republican mayor Phil Amicone's top aide and conservative chairwoman has ensured pro-abortion democrat Mike Spano the conservative line.  Despite mixed signals from city hall Jim Faulkner is confident in his GOP support.

“I know first hand that faithful Republican district leaders have been canvassing the 93rd Assembly district collecting signatures to qualify candidates for races across the aboard” said Faulkner.

Until Mike Spano, with total disregard for many loyal republican supporters, switched to the democrat party, the 93rd assembly district has always been a Republican stronghold.  It is clear that the GOP leadership will want to make sure that Spano faces solid opposition and do whatever is necessary to win this seat back to republican control.

“At the end of the day, I know that I can count on the Republican leadership for the signatures necessary to be on the ballot in November – their word is good enough for me.”
