IS MIKE SPANO REALLY FOR US?

by Colonel Arthur DeRuve (Ret)

         Is Mike Spano who stabbed us, his Republican supporters, in the back by slithering off to the Democrat Party pushing our interests in his new surroundings, or his own? Well, let's look at the facts. Following are the major issues overwhelmingly favored by American voters (percentages shown) which our assemblyman should be advocating. Some may have to be addressed at the national level, some at the state & local levels. With the former you should ask yourself if Mr. Spano, altho unable to vote on the issues, is confronting the likes of his new pals Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Nita Lowey et al, who are on the wrong side of almost every such issue, on our behalf. With the latter, closer to where he has personal power to do so, ask if he is taking on his friends Boss Sheldon Silver, Andrew Spano, William Ryan et al.

  Well, Mr. Assemblyman, how many of your Democrat colleagues are championing these positions on the War Against Terrorism, energy, immigration Social Security and the English language? One who was strong on terrorism, Senator Lieberman, was thrown out of the party. The answer is few, if any. Once again you are now aligned with those who put party & electability before country. You are now part of that shame. You are not fighting for us, you are fighting for your own political future;
How Sad!!

         What is the answer for us? It is the election of Jim Faulkner to the New York State Assembly in place of the discredited Mike Spano!!
